ZINQO started on a July 2023 afternoon, in a Bondi apartment with three mates, three beers, and a question: why can't we play a board game anywhere, anytime, without the wind, water and sand constraints ?

So we made our own. We spent months playing, arguing, scrapping, and rebuilding. We tried every mechanic we could think of, and threw most of them out. The rules got simpler. The stakes got higher. The games got louder. At some point, the laughter around the table told us we were onto something.

ZINQO isn't about luck. It's about reading your opponents, making sharp decisions, and winning on your terms. It's the game that rewards the player who pays attention — which means every table is different, every round is a new story, and someone always goes home with something to prove.

We obsessed over every detail : the weight of the wooden dice, the feel and shape of the tokens, the packaging you actually want to leave out on the table. Because a game this good deserves to look the part.

We didn't want to make a board game. We wanted to make a ritual.

How many players can play?

Zinqo is made for 2 to 4 players. Best at 4, two teams of 2 players, that's where the chaos peaks. Works at 2 too, just leaner.

How long is one game?

ZInqo is fast-paced game. Each game are around 15-20 minutes. Long enough to feel a comeback, short enough that no one needs a smoke break. Everyone wants a replay.

Can it really be played at the beach or camping?

Yes, that's why we built it. Wooden, water-resistant components, compact box, no setup table needed. Tested on Bondi sand and Jervis Bay campsites. Made to be played anywhere, anytime.

What's the recommended age?

8 and up. The rules are a 2-minute read, but the strategic layer rewards anyone who plays a few rounds. Younger children can play with parents supervision.
