03 — Objective

Align in a row. Win.

The first player to align 5 tokens in a row — horizontal, vertical or diagonal — wins instantly.

With 3 players or 3 teams, you only need to align 4 tokens in a row — horizontal, vertical or diagonal — to win.

5 in a row. Game over. 4 in a row. Game over.

If no one aligns the winning row, the highest point total wins. Tied score? The player who placed all their tokens first earns +1 bonus point.

3 players / 3 teams → 4 in a row to win.
04 — Gameplay

Roll. Combine. Score.

Players take turns. Every turn follows the same 4-step rhythm.

1

Roll the dice

Roll all 5 wooden dice. You have up to 3 rolls to form a valid combination.

Between rolls, hold any dice you want and re-roll the rest.

2

Form a combination

To place a token on the board, your final dice must match one of the listed combinations.

Fail to land any combination after 3 rolls? Your turn ends and no token is placed.

3

Place a token & score

Place 1 token of your color on any free square.

  • 3 tokens aligned → 1 point
  • 4 tokens aligned → 3 points (2-player only)
  • ZINQO combo → 1 point + play another turn
4

End the game

Game ends instantly when a player aligns the winning row: 5 in a row (2P) or 4 in a row (3P / teams).

Otherwise, the moment one player runs out of tokens, count points — highest total wins.

05 — The Combinations

Land any of these

Each combination earns you the right to place 1 token. Starred combinations unlock the Sec & Call bonuses.

3 of a kind

Three identical dice (e.g. 4 · 4 · 4)

Small straight

4 consecutive dice (e.g. 1·2·3·4 or 2·3·4·5)

4 of a kind

Four identical dice (e.g. 5 · 5 · 5 · 5)

Straight

5 consecutive dice (1·2·3·4·5 or 2·3·4·5·6)

ZINQO

5 identical dice — 1 pt and play again

Full house

3 identical + 2 identical (e.g. 4·4·4 + 6·6)

Mini

Sum of all 5 dice ≤ 8

Maxi

Sum of all 5 dice ≥ 27

Sec

Achieve a starred combination on your first roll, and only your first roll. Sec can only be done on starred combos.

Call

Announce a starred combo before rolling, then go for it. Call can only target starred combos, and your token can only be placed on the call.

Starred combinations are eligible for the Sec & Call.

06 — Scoring

How points work

Every time you complete an alignment, you score immediately. Mark each scored row so it's not counted twice.

+1

3 in a row

Align three of your tokens — one point.

+3

4 in a row

Extend to four — three points. (2-player rule)

WIN

5 in a row 4 in a row

Game over. You won — instantly.

No winning row? As soon as one player runs out of tokens, the game ends. Count points — most points wins. Tie? +1 to whoever finished placing first.

Hardcore Mode

Once you've mastered the basics, crank the dial. Mix any of the variants below — or stack them all for total chaos.

🫂 Founder Mode +

This is how we actually play. No mercy, no excuses.
No takebacks. The moment your token touches the board, it stays. Chose wrong? Too bad — own it.
Pay attention or pay the price. When a player rolls ZINQO, they earn an extra turn — the dice don’t leave their hands yet. If you grab them too early and play out of turn, remove one of your already-placed tokens. No exceptions.
All or nothing on the roll. If any die hits the floor or lands off the board, re-roll all 5. Not just the rogue one. All of them. If you do it 3 times in the same game, you remove one of your token from the board.
Wait your turn, fully. If the previous player hasn’t placed their token yet and you pick up the dice and play, you jumped the gun. Remove one of your already-placed tokens. Their turn isn’t over until the token is on the board.

♾️ Infinite Mode +

The board is never truly safe.
If you roll a combination whose cell is already occupied by an opponent’s token, you can remove their token from the board. You don’t place yours — you simply take theirs away.

No cell is ever permanently locked. Use it to break alignments, disrupt a near-win, or just get in their head.

🍻 Bar Mode +

Whoever fails 3 turns in a row buys the next round. Whoever scores a ZINQO gets a free drink.

⚠ Hardcore Mode is meant for experienced players. Friendships not guaranteed.

Play your way.
